Witty and humorous, Self Defense Against Vampires is definitely the most fascinating take on the vampire myth that I have yet to read. This fictional narrative is written as a self-help book for people in the event that they may need to battle a vampire. The writer tells the reader of various “myths” and things to look out for regarding the “truth” of the vampire myth in a very satirical manner. The author gives a very extensive history of everything and anything a vampire fan would need to/want to know on the subject. If you’re a fan of vampires, this is definitely the book for you though if you’re a Twihard, it may poke fun at you a little!

Proud author responsible for Dead by Morning and The Council, fascinated by the dark and macabre. Stephen King is her all time inspiration mixed in with a little bit of Eminem and some faint remnants of the works of Edgar Allen Poe. When she began writing, she started in horror but it somehow drifted into thriller. She loves the 1988 movie Heathers. She was born and raised in Michigan but traveled across the country to where she currently resides in Texas.
