Author: Charlotte Munro

Summary:

Somewhere in the dark corners of the library, worn velvet tomes sit abandoned, forgotten. Tales of the dark, the blood and the beast. Ten Short Stories of the creepy and the macabre. From Vampire to Demon, to Human and Evil. Sometimes, there is no in-between. Everybody has a few skeletons in their closet, they just need a little dusting…

My review:

5/5 Stars

Horror is one of my absolute favorite genres so I picked this book up expecting great things and was not disappointed. The stories within are just long enough to hook their talons into your mind and make you think. Each story was better than the last, and I found myself not wanting to put this book down. It’s hard to pick just one favorite story from the bunch because they were all so well-written. Miss Munro has a definite talent for horror, and I look forward to reading more by her in the future!

Published by Author Kayla Krantz

Proud author responsible for Dead by Morning and The Council, fascinated by the dark and macabre. Stephen King is her all time inspiration mixed in with a little bit of Eminem and some faint remnants of the works of Edgar Allen Poe. When she began writing, she started in horror but it somehow drifted into thriller. She loves the 1988 movie Heathers. She was born and raised in Michigan but traveled across the country to where she currently resides in Texas.
