·         Deleted scenes;
·         And more!

You can’t stop the future.
You can’t rewind the past.
The only way to learn the secret . . . is to press play.

Clay Jensen returns home from school to find a strange package with his name on it lying on his porch. Inside he discovers several cassette tapes recorded by Hannah Baker–his classmate and crush–who committed suicide two weeks earlier. Hannah’s voice tells him that there are thirteen reasons why she decided to end her life. Clay is one of them. If he listens, he’ll find out why.

Clay spends the night crisscrossing his town with Hannah as his guide. He becomes a firsthand witness to Hannah’s pain, and as he follows Hannah’s recorded words throughout his town, what he discovers changes his life forever.

My review:

5/5 Stars but I wish there was a rating to show how absolutely in love with this book I am.

Everyone needs to read this!

Beautifully haunting, Thirteen Reasons Why follows the protagonist, Clay, as he slowly learns each of Hannah Baker’s thirteen reasons for ending her life through a series of tapes that were mysteriously left on his doorstep. Starting with a handful of seemingly unconnected stories, this novel wraps them all together, showing that every action, no matter how small, will have a reaction and it’s hard to tell if it will be good or bad.

From the very first page this story will grip you and change the way you think about the people around you. Recommended for everyone!

Proud author responsible for Dead by Morning and The Council, fascinated by the dark and macabre. Stephen King is her all time inspiration mixed in with a little bit of Eminem and some faint remnants of the works of Edgar Allen Poe. When she began writing, she started in horror but it somehow drifted into thriller. She loves the 1988 movie Heathers. She was born and raised in Michigan but traveled across the country to where she currently resides in Texas.
