Summary:

Dead of Night is a compilation of turn of the century era horror stories with a Victorian flare and traditional horror story plots with unexpected endings. If you like ghosts and ghouls and demons and werewolves, these stories are for you.

My review:

5/5 Stars

~I received a free copy for my honest review~

Six strong and creepy tales of horror and the paranormal make up this book. It has topics ranging from werewolves to deals with the devil and haunting corpses. My favorite short story was Jack, a retelling of the classic tale of Jack the Ripper with a twist. With an author voice that can hold a candle to Edgar Allen Poe, Todd weaves these brilliant tales that will send chills down your spine and keep you up late into the night.

Recommended to everyone who loves a good scary story!

Proud author responsible for Dead by Morning and The Council, fascinated by the dark and macabre. Stephen King is her all time inspiration mixed in with a little bit of Eminem and some faint remnants of the works of Edgar Allen Poe. When she began writing, she started in horror but it somehow drifted into thriller. She loves the 1988 movie Heathers. She was born and raised in Michigan but traveled across the country to where she currently resides in Texas.
