Book Review: WULF (Elemental MC #1)

Title: WULF (Elemental MC #1)

Author: Alexi Ferreira

I have always felt like I didn’t belong. Until I met Wulf.
He takes me away from everything I know and introduces me to a life that I never expected.
Now instead of being alone I have the whole MC as family, but i am in danger.
Before everyone treated me as if i was a freak. But he understands me.

She is mine, they can try and get to her but they wont succeed, i will go through hell to protect her.
No one touches what is mine. I will shake the earth itself, no one will be safe. My brothers and I are a family the club is my home but she is my soul the light to my darkness.

This is the first book in the Elementals MC Series, this story contains all the panty-melting sexiness and alpha goodness. Can be read as a standalone romance novel, with HEA and no cliffhangers. Intended for mature readers.

My review

4/5 Stars

Jas is a painter, hunted by her foster father for her unusual ability to paint the future. After moving into her latest abode, she begins to paint a man she has never seen before. Then he appears in her home and she is at a loss for words. She’s unnerved to wake up in the same bed as him and that’s when the man claims to be her mate, a being capable of moving the elements, and she has a hard time believing him. This is where the book lost a star to me. I felt as if the relationship between Wulf and Jas was just a little too rushed with her agreeing to sleep with him within such a short time of meeting him.

Anyway, they go on to move into Wulf’s place with his gang so that he can keep her safe and the story becomes quite enjoyable for readers who enjoy paranormal romance. The author did a wonderful job of character creation as well as setting a scene. With a little more pacing, I would happily give this book 5 stars.

Proud author responsible for Dead by Morning and The Council, fascinated by the dark and macabre. Stephen King is her all time inspiration mixed in with a little bit of Eminem and some faint remnants of the works of Edgar Allen Poe. When she began writing, she started in horror but it somehow drifted into thriller. She loves the 1988 movie Heathers. She was born and raised in Michigan but traveled across the country to where she currently resides in Texas.
