The battle for divine power rages within the Eternal Realm.

As the conflict escalates a prophecy is born that will set god against god amidst the mortal world below.
When the young priestess Rahab saves two foreigners from execution, she sets in motion a sequence of events that could see the death of everyone she knows and loves.

The future of humanity hangs in the balance as two bloodlines converge to battle over the city of Jericho. Now the Goddess Asherah must protect the prophecy and ensure both ancestral lines survive.

If either bloodline dies, the Host of Heaven will continue to battle for eternity…..

My review

4/5 Stars

This story has a lot of its roots from information in the bible but I love the way the author put a fantasy twist on it. Many of the events were not things that I predicted would happen. Rehab, the main character who happens to be a very strong female, is one of those types of characters who you find yourself rooting for from the beginning onward, especially in this story where she risked everything for the sake of two prisoners.

I think my favorite part about this book was how rich and deep the worldbuilding was because it made for a very immersive read. The dialogue especially showed just how well thought out everything was, including the characters. Fantastic read for fans of mythology, magical realism, and fantasy!

Proud author responsible for Dead by Morning and The Council, fascinated by the dark and macabre. Stephen King is her all time inspiration mixed in with a little bit of Eminem and some faint remnants of the works of Edgar Allen Poe. When she began writing, she started in horror but it somehow drifted into thriller. She loves the 1988 movie Heathers. She was born and raised in Michigan but traveled across the country to where she currently resides in Texas.
