Summary

Hey! I am Adrianna… seventeen, ordinary and …dead.
A short time ago my biggest worries were my mom staying sober, my new stepdad sticking around, and how my hair looked. Now, I am knee-deep into angels, unimaginable evil, fading thousand-year-old monks, and I am falling head over heels for a gorgeous dead guy, and an adorable, vision-transmitting little artist.
The secret Jonathan – my new dead boyfriend – is keeping from may prove more than I can handle. I am responsible for saving my new world and everyone in it!

My review

5/5 Stars

I always love a good life after death story and this one was fantastic. Nothing seems to be wrong with Adrianna, until one day when she dies at a bus stop. Watching her family and friends from a place known as Middle World, she encounters a person she had met only once during her time on Earth, an entity known as Johnathan who she both loves and despises. As the story progresses, Adrianna finds herself trapped in the middle of angels and evil. This is a book that will keep you turning the pages, especially since it has all the essentials for a great read including suspense, romance, and a brilliant protagonist.

Published by Author Kayla Krantz

Proud author responsible for Dead by Morning and The Council, fascinated by the dark and macabre. Stephen King is her all time inspiration mixed in with a little bit of Eminem and some faint remnants of the works of Edgar Allen Poe. When she began writing, she started in horror but it somehow drifted into thriller. She loves the 1988 movie Heathers. She was born and raised in Michigan but traveled across the country to where she currently resides in Texas.
