Book 1 – Fire: A Heart & Soul Novel

My review

4/5 Stars

It’s been a little while since I read the first book, but I was excited to dive into the pages of Ice. I remembered where Fire left off, and I started to grow excited as I saw the new challenges that the characters had to face. Paranormal adventure is an interesting genre, and it’s books like this that make it even more entertaining.

The author’s voice is unique and added to worldbuilding that won’t be forgotten anytime soon. I thought the concept of the “Connection” was different from other books in the same genre, especially the way that every character had their own reaction to it.

All in all, I love this series, and can’t wait to see where the next book takes us.

Published by Author Kayla Krantz

Proud author responsible for Dead by Morning and The Council, fascinated by the dark and macabre. Stephen King is her all time inspiration mixed in with a little bit of Eminem and some faint remnants of the works of Edgar Allen Poe. When she began writing, she started in horror but it somehow drifted into thriller. She loves the 1988 movie Heathers. She was born and raised in Michigan but traveled across the country to where she currently resides in Texas.
