Summary

Never trust demonic looking hairless cats that walk around the house in little handmade sweaters

After a lifetime in the foster care system, at twenty-six, I received a strange visit. Okay, I may have made it weird answering the door naked. I find out the truth about my parents, inherit a huge manor house and a fortune, and I find out there’s some weird prophecy about my birth. I’ve also been tricked into starting the apocalypse by this wicked looking cat who might be the Antichrist. Did I mention the cat is named after my missing twin brother?

Does anyone know how to evict four hot Horsemen of the Apocalypse? Asking for a friend

My Review

5/5 Stars

This book had a great little mix of everything: romance, sex, cats, and weirdness.

I absolutely loved Tabitha’s character. She’s strong-headed and witty. When she decided to open the door naked to scare away her visitor, I laughed because I don’t think I’ve ever read about a main character quite like her before.

When her life begins to seemingly change for the better, she keeps it in stride, but she’s suspicious, especially when she sees the strange-looking cat in a sweater. When the four horsemen turn up as four gorgeous guys, however, she has to re-evaluate her current take on the situation.

Proud author responsible for Dead by Morning and The Council, fascinated by the dark and macabre. Stephen King is her all time inspiration mixed in with a little bit of Eminem and some faint remnants of the works of Edgar Allen Poe. When she began writing, she started in horror but it somehow drifted into thriller. She loves the 1988 movie Heathers. She was born and raised in Michigan but traveled across the country to where she currently resides in Texas.
