My Review

5/5 Stars

Freedom fighters gather and the final battle for planet Samael is ready to begin. Will their leader, an exiled princess, find a peaceful way to remove her power-hungry brother from the throne or will the fight end in a disastrous war?

This was an intense read from start to finish. I loved how much personality each character had and how different they really were from one another. Each of them had their own ideologies and things that they believed were important enough to not only fight for, but possibly die for. The scenes were well flushed out, and easy to picture.

With plenty of adventure, action, and suspense, once I got into this book, I found it was tough to put it down again.

Proud author responsible for Dead by Morning and The Council, fascinated by the dark and macabre. Stephen King is her all time inspiration mixed in with a little bit of Eminem and some faint remnants of the works of Edgar Allen Poe. When she began writing, she started in horror but it somehow drifted into thriller. She loves the 1988 movie Heathers. She was born and raised in Michigan but traveled across the country to where she currently resides in Texas.
