I loved this retelling of the classic story of Beauty and the Beast. Twisted and well-written, this story captivated me from the very first page. Plus, I love the take of the not-so-happy ending. This story creates a Belle who is wild and unruly, delivered to the Beast himself near to her 18th birthday. She thinks she’s there as a prisoner to be a servant but her fate is much more serious than that. Belle can break the curse over the Beast and his castle for a price…her life. What the Beast doesn’t anticipate is how strong-willed Belle is and the feelings she stirs in him.
Definitely recommended!
